Scholarships available! Courage and kindness will be the guiding principles in this 8-session online writing community. So if you’ve been wanting to take some risks on the page, work alongside like-minded writers or simply learn some of the basic principles of creative nonfiction, welcome!

The entire world feels in tumult right now. But art matters in moments like this. Connection matters. Courage flourishes when we face our fears in the company of others equally brave (and often equally terrified).

This inaugural workshop will be open to 8 participants. I’ll share craft tips from some of my favorite writers, you will have the opportunity to respond to writing prompts, meet writers from around the world, and share your work in a supportive environment. Workshops will run every two weeks on Saturdays, 10:30 am to noon (PST), from February 21 to May 30, 2026.
